Common questions
Is Nagarik free?
Yes. Nagarik is free and has no ads. It's run by ThousandMilesAI and kept going by donations.
Is this legal advice?
No. Nagarik gives legal information, not legal advice. For your own case, speak to a lawyer. Women and children can get free legal aid whatever their income: call NALSA on 15100.
Who checks the sessions?
Every session is checked by a volunteer reviewer who isn't its author. Spot a mistake? Report it from the app, and a reviewer will look into it.
Where is my progress saved?
Only on your phone, not on our servers. If you uninstall the app or move to a new phone, your progress is lost and you start again. See the privacy policy.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Nagarik is for Android phones.
How do I delete my account?
In the Nagarik app: go to Profile → Delete account, and confirm. If you signed in a while ago, we'll email you a code first.
Don't have the app any more? Email us from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We'll reply when it's done.
